Taste of Hayden highlights local culture and traditions of our region with an evening celebration of local offerings (included with On the Road conference registration and open to the public for $55 including Granary tours, dinner, dance lessons, dancing). Continuing Hayden’s heritage of country dances from back in the early 1900’s, the Historic Hayden Granary (on the local, State and National Registers of Historic Places) will host a barn dance (and dance lessons!); along with a variety of food hosted by local vendors; a historic walking tour of Hayden and the Hayden Granary, and an evening of great live music and dancing in the Granary warehouse. Join Historic Routt County, Hayden Heritage Center and the Granary in celebrating Historic Preservation Month at the Historic Hayden Granary while helping us further our missions of preserving the historic places, landscapes, and unique character of Hayden and Routt County. Come and celebrate special authentic places in our County.
SUMMER MONTHLY DANCES
Come join us May through October for our community barn dances. A Granary tradition since 2010.
Next barn dance is a collaboration with Colorado Preservation Inc's 'Saving Places' Conference, Saturday, September 7th - 5:30-9pm - more info above.
Due to minimal staff, private events are very limited at the Granary yet we partner with other Non-Profit organizations for fundraisers and more. Alpenglow at the Granary has some availability for events within their space.
